The Great River Race is fast approaching, and we have a crew that is looking for someone to take part in the 22 mile ride of a lifetime! This is a great opportunity to take part in an amazing day on the water! The crew is from The Worshipful Company of Barbers, they are very friendly and semi-serious, but regular competitors of mixed ages.
The boat is the 36’ Thames Waterman Cutter in the picture, but rigged as a 6 without the canopy.
The team is being organised by Paul Clark and all interest is welcome, as long as you can maintain a steady state for a couple of hours we would like to hear from you. You will need to be at Millwall Dock at 9am on the 15th of September.
This is a first in, first served opportunity, so leave a comment below if you’re interested and we’ll pass your details on.

Hi!
I row gigs in North Devon and belong to Torridge pilot gig club, which is based in a little village called Appledore.
We are a competitive club and we have taken part in all types of races and my usual position for ladies vets and A crews has been Stroke,we have had some success but in the world championships we came 44th out 126,so not quite in top league.
I love endurance races and although small,i am very capable of doing GRR.
Hi Siaan,
Thanks for your reply! I have forwarded your details onto Paul and hopefully he will be in touch with you soon.
