Dear sports participant,
You may recall that you completed a survey for us back in the Spring of 2010 about your sporting experiences. You will be pleased to know that the things you told us then have been very important in helping us to shape how we invest in community sport in England. More particularly, the findings have influenced how we work with the national governing bodies of sport as they pursue a shared commitment to get more people to take part in sport and to improve the quality of experience for those who are already regular participants.
You can find out more information about the results from last year’s survey and details about who we are and what we do at Sport England on our website at www.sportengland.org
It is approaching that time of year again, and we are really hopeful that you can find a small amount of your time to let us know your views one year on. Ipsos MORI, our appointed survey company, will be in touch in the coming months. Please look out for the email and let us know about your sporting experiences over the past year. We look forward to receiving your views in the lead up to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity afforded by the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games to deliver a lasting mass participation legacy for sport in this country.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Ipsos MORI team at SportEnglandSurvey@ipsos-mori.com
Yours sincerely
Nick Rowe
