COACHING OPPORTUNITY IN AUSTRALIA
Gippsland Grammar is again searching for three well experienced and enthusiastic rowers with coaching experience, to fill rowing GAP positions at the school for the 2014-2015 season. Commencing around July – August 2014 and finishing between around the end of March to early April 2015. The finish date will depend on the timing of domestic regattas which are not yet available. Our programme is primarily sculling so sculling experience would be an distinct advantage.
The school provides accommodation in a house 100m from the boat shed, a weekly allowance along with a contribution toward meals. We would prefer more mature people who would like to take a GAP after completing University studies or the like. However we would consider any application on merit. A driver?s license is essential. There are opportunities to continue sculling, and to compete in domestic regattas, as well as the Australian National Championships. There is also ample time during the summer school holidays to explore Australia. For further details contact Frank Stone at the following email address, frank.stone(at)gippslandgs.vic.edu.au
