According President Andreas Bucher the reparation is well under way. They expect a great venue and make sure all visitors will have an unforgettable time in Lucerne. “The beautiful town of Lucerne with its backdrop of wonderful mountains and our perfect lake in this outstanding nature reserve provide the best base for these European Championships”.

Cheaper Tickets for the European Rowing Championships?
Some interesting information: According J. Trittibach, who is editor at Swiss Rowing, the organizers were also interested in what a ticket to the grandstand years was costing in previous. They dug into the archives and discovered that in 1962 (WRCH), a ticket to the grandstand cost a whopping CHF 60.00. This would correspond to purchasing power adjusted today’s ticket price of CHF 230.00.
