Ziel: Der Gewinn der Olympischen Spiele 1972.\u00a0 Lutz Colani sollte Karl Adam und dem deutschen Team helfen, in M\u00fcnchen die Goldmedaille zu holen. Sie alle wollten mit dem Boot Ruder Historie schreiben: Der Colani Achter, 60 Kilo auf 18 m (Foto Credit: S\u00fcdwestpresse 1972).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sprechen wir mal \u00fcber die Historie des Colani Achters:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Ruder Historie: Luigi Colani Achter und die Olymischen Spiele 1972<\/h4>\n<p>Der Deutsche Ruderverband und deren Trainer sind sp\u00e4testens seit Trainer Legende Karl Adam bekannt daf\u00fcr, bei ihren Booten neue Materialien und neue Systeme zu testen. So auch zu Beginn der Siebziger Jahre. Das Trio um Colani stellte sich die Aufgabe das Bootsgewicht von 105 Kg auf 60 kg zu senken.<\/p>\n<h4>Wie finde ich 60 Kilo? Der Luigi Colani Achter<\/h4>\n<p>Das war nicht einfach. Colani produzierte mehrer Prototypen und nutzte zum ersten Mal Epoxy Harze und ein ausgekl\u00fcgeltes System aus Titanrohren.\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rowperfect.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Colani-8-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/rowperfect.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Colani-8-1.jpg\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 333px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 333\/445;\" \/><\/a> Renovierter Colani Achter. Credit River and Rowing Museum<\/p>\n<p>Leider waren die &#8222;Praxistests&#8220; nicht sehr erfolgreich. Beim ersten Test in der Schweiz wurde festgestellt, dass die Ruderer auf ihren Rollsitzen in der Rollbahn h\u00e4ngen blieben. Colani hatte einen System mit drei Holzschienen realisiert, die in Punkto Parallelit\u00e4t und an Pr\u00e4zision gemangelt habemn, Da ging schief.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0Historie Luigi Colani Achter. Er funktioniert nicht<\/h4>\n<p>Auch weitere Test in S\u00fcddeutschland konnten die Trainer und die Mannschaft nicht \u00fcberzeugen. Colani arbeitete an dem Boot bis zu den Zwischenl\u00e4ufen der Olympiade. Wundersch\u00f6n sah der Ruderachter aus: stromlinienf\u00f6rmig, futuristisch und schnell. Stardesigner Luigi Colani hatte in kurzer Zeit ganze Arbeit geleistet. Doch kaum war das Gef\u00e4hrt im Wasser, sank es wie ein Stein und mit ihm ertrank die Hoffnung auf das ultimative Superboot, mit dem die Ruderer einen Sieg nach dem anderen einfahren w\u00fcrden. Das Projekt wurde fallen gelassen. Empacher stellte schnell ein Boot f\u00fcr die Crew.<\/p>\n<p>So kam das Boot an der Olympiade M\u00fcnchen nicht zum Einsatz. Schlimmer noch: Das Deutsche Team belegte nur den Platz 5. Auch das ist ein Effect der Ruder Historie des Colani Achters.<\/p>\n<p>Heute muss man sagen, Colani war mit seinen Ideen schon sehr nah an dem heutigen Kunststoffsystem der Boote lag. Er nutzte extrem leichte Titanium Streben, Epoxi Harze, Sch\u00e4ume und Styropor. Alles Materialien die wir heute in Rennbooten einsetzen.
