Eher eine Tagestour f\u00fcr Amateure und Breitensportler die sich eine sch\u00f6ne Zeit machen. Jeder kann mitmachen der ein Boot steuern kann. Egal ob Ruderer, Drachenbootler oder Kanuten. Ja sogar SUP&#8217;s und Gondoliere findet man.<\/p>\n<h3>Vogalonga &#8211; eine Form des Protest.<\/h3>\n<p>Alles hat 1974 angefangen. Ein paar venezianische Freunde hatten es leid, dass das Aufkommen an Motorbooten in der Stadt zunahm. Damit auch die Belastung der historischen Geb\u00e4ude durch Wellen und kleineren Unf\u00e4llen. Au\u00dferdem wollte man die traditionellen muskelbetrieben Boote wieder st\u00e4rken. Die Idee: Einmal im Jahr eine Regatta von muskelbetrieben Booten als leiser Symbol des Protestes. Eins Stadt ohne Motorboote.<\/p>\n<p>Allianzen wurden geschmiedet und Koalitionen gebildet. Und die Venezianer hatten Spass an dem Gedanken. Die Kritiker konnten sich &#8211; bis heute &#8211; nicht durchsetzen. Immerhin durften f\u00fcr 5-6 Stunden\u00a0keine Vaporettos (Motorboote) fahren. Gl\u00fccklicherweise waren im Organisationskomitee Verantwortliche der grossen italienischen Sportzeitung. Die Idee wurde medial verbreitet &#8230; der Rest ist Historie. 1975 startete die erste Vogalonga.<\/p>\n<h3>Rudern an der Vogalonga &#8211; Die Regatta<\/h3>\n<p>Am Voga Sonntag zwischen 8.00 am and 9.00 am treffen sich die Boote im St. Mark\u2019s Basin (Bacino S.Marco) gegen\u00fcber dem Ducal Palace. Jedes Jahr zu Pfingsten. Punkt 9.00 Hrs geht es los. Ein Kanonenschuss und die Ruderer starten.\u00a0 Entland der Hauptinsel, weiter nach Murano und Burano. Nach ca. 30 Km findet man sich am Cannareggio Kanal ein. Noemi, von Rowing in Europe, eine Tourveranstalter sagt: Das Rudern vom Cannaregio Kanal bis zum Canale Grande war mit das sch\u00f6nste was ich erlebt habe.&#8220; Die Zuschauer applaudieren und jubeln den Sportlern zu.<\/p>\n<h3>Vogalonga &#8211; Ruder Familie<\/h3>\n<p>Bei der Voga ist keine Eile angesagt. Einige Teams sind nach 2.5 Std wieder zur\u00fcck andere lassen sich Zeit und erscheinen um 17.00 hrs am Sammelplatz. Sie stoppen zum Lunch auf eine der Inseln. Noemi: 2017 wurden wir sogar von Anwohnern zum Mittagessen eingeladen. Die Strecke hat sich nicht ge\u00e4ndert, so aber die Teilnehmerzahlen. Mir sagte ein Offizieller, dass 2018 ca. 8000 Teilnehmer dabei waren. Eine grosse Zahl von Protestler, mit ca 2700 Booten. Und dies hat dazu gef\u00fchrt, dass die Voga Organisatoren die Teilnehmerzahlen beschr\u00e4nken wollen. Aus einer kleinen Protestbewegung ist eine Massenbewegung geworden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dennoch:<\/strong> Die Teilnahme ist unvergesslich. Das Flair und die freundlichen Leute die man trifft. Italienisches Ambiente und italienische Organisation.\u00a0 Alles f\u00fcr einen Tag. Jeder Ruderer sollte einmal teilnehemen. H\u00e4lt man sich an die Fahrordnungen ist die Teilnahme ungef\u00e4hrlich. Es gibt zwar Wasserschutzpolizei und Taucher die helfen. Aber das eher bei Personen die (vors\u00e4tzlich) vom Weg abkommen. Easyjet oder Ryan Air machen das m\u00f6glich. Nach 20 Minuten ist man in der Stadt. Ideal f\u00fcr ein Ruderwochenende.
