Schauen wir uns an, was Mastersruderer sagen!<\/p>\n<p>Ein Freund von mir hat mir einmal erz\u00e4hlt, dass ein Boot beim Riemenrudern nur so gut ist wie seine Steuerleute. So kontraintuitiv es auch sein mag, gute Steuerleute k\u00f6nnen den Status ihrer Besatzungen erh\u00f6hen und ganze Clubs vorantreiben. Nat\u00fcrlich sind gro\u00dfartige Ruderer auch f\u00fcr gro\u00dfartige Crews unverzichtbar, aber ohne den sogenannten 9. Sitz sind wir kaum in der Lage, das Boot zum Wasser zu bringen, geschweige denn zu rudern.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Jeder auf dem Boot macht Fehler<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Trotz dieser Begebenheiten werden Steuerleute oftmals untersch\u00e4tzt oder f\u00fcr Fehler verantwortlich gemacht, die m\u00f6glicherweise nicht ganz ihre Schuld sind. Jeder im Boot macht Fehler, aber Steuerleute sind die einzigen, die das Mikrofon haben und dieses den Fehler einfach offensichtlicher macht.<\/p>\n<p>Eine M\u00f6glichkeit, h\u00e4ufige Steuerfehler zu vermeiden, besteht darin, ein System f\u00fcr eine effektive Kommunikation zwischen Trainern, Steuerleuten und Besatzungen zu haben. Wenn der Trainer beispielsweise mit der Besatzung spricht, w\u00e4hrend das Boot steht ist, sollten dann auch Steuerleute sprechen, um Anpassungen am Boot vorzunehmen? Wenn das Boot aufs Land oder andere Hindernisse zusteuert, ist dieses Prinzip m\u00f6glicherweise nicht immer eindeutig. Trainer sollten sicherstellen, dass ihre Steuerleute wissen, wann sie sich zu Wort melden k\u00f6nnen, auch wenn dies m\u00f6glicherweise die eigenen Anweisungen unterbricht.<\/p>\n<h4>&#8222;Communication is key!&#8220;<\/h4>\n<p>Ebenso m\u00fcssen Steuerleute mit ihren Besatzungen Regeln aufstellen, wann es in Ordnung ist sich zu \u00e4u\u00dfern und wann nicht.\u00a0F\u00fcr die meisten Boote gilt wahrscheinlich die Regel der Stille: Jeder Ruderer schweigt im Boot, es sei denn, die Besatzung oder das Fahrzeug ist in unmittelbarer Gefahr. Diese Regel wird jedoch h\u00e4ufig verletzt, wenn Ruderer ihren Steuerleuten nicht vertrauen, eine Aufgabe zu erledigen und Kritik \u00e4u\u00dfern oder Fragen stellen, w\u00e4hrend Steuerleute versuchen, ein bestimmtes Man\u00f6ver durchzuf\u00fchren. Dies f\u00fchrt h\u00e4ufig in einen negativen Zyklus. Die Besatzung kann die Steuerleute aufgrund ihrer Teamkollegen nicht h\u00f6ren, die Aufgabe wird nicht erfolgreich abgeschlossen, und die Steuerleute verlieren das Vertrauen ihrer Crew oder das Vertrauen in ihre Crew. Um dieser Spirale des Vertrauensverlusts\u00a0vorzubeugen, k\u00f6nnen Steuerleute klarstellen, dass sie die einzige Stimme im Boot sein sollten &#8211; au\u00dfer in Notf\u00e4llen -, aber dass Kommentare und Kritik au\u00dferhalb des Bootes und nach dem Training willkommen sind. Dies gibt den Ruderern einen ausgemachten Raum f\u00fcr R\u00fcckmeldungen, dass die Autorit\u00e4t der Steuerleute nicht untergr\u00e4bt, und sicherstellt, dass das Vertrauensverh\u00e4ltnis ausgezeichnet bleibt.<\/p>\n<p>Schlie\u00dflich kann die Crew mit ihren Steuerleuten auch dar\u00fcber kommunizieren, was sie in einem Rennen gerne h\u00f6ren w\u00fcrde. Die Rolle der Steuerleute kann zusammenfassend als Optimierung der Crew im Rennen bezeichnet werden.\u00a0Dies bedeutet auch, dass Steuerleute offen f\u00fcr die Bed\u00fcrfnisse ihrer Crew sein m\u00fcssen und verstehen sollten welche Anfeuerungen und Anweisungen ihre Crew inspirieren und wann genau diese eingesetzt werden sollten. Dies sollte au\u00dferhalb des Boots besprochen werden. Ein solcher Raum gibt der Crew und den Steuerleuten\u00a0eine \u00a0M\u00f6glichkeit f\u00fcr Feedback, und erm\u00f6glicht es, einen Renn- oder Trainingsplan zu erstellen, der die St\u00e4rken der einzelnen und kollektiven Crew optimal nutzt.<\/p>\n<h4>Gute Kommunikation f\u00fchrt zu guter Zusammenarbeit<\/h4>\n<p>Es versteht sich von selbst, dass Steuerleute ein integraler Bestandteil einer gro\u00dfartigen Crew sind. Aber genauer w\u00e4re es eine exzellente Kommunikation zwischen allen Mitgliedern eines Teams als Weg zum Erfolg zu w\u00fcrdigen. Getreu der Natur des Rudersports ist keine Position hervorgehoben \u00a0&#8211; keiner ist unwichtiger oder verdient weniger Respekt f\u00fcr seine Rolle &#8211; es geht darum, wie eine Crew zusammenarbeitet.
