All I want for Christmas Is the Olympics And to sit down by Dorney Lake again And to see two rowing golds One after the other And a silver by the Narrowest margin ever Even if all morning We had sat out in the rain

Oh my goodness it Was truly fantastic To be among the crowd On Super Saturday And to feel so very proud To be British As we roared and cheered Our rowers all the way

All I want for Christmas Is to feel again The atmosphere That the Olympic rowing Created at Eton Dorney Because it didn’t matter Who you were or where You came from The very best of all the best Were rowing there right In front of all of us to see.
