There is not much on the market like this Coxing CD so from that point of view the CD is a really good idea. It has helped with the coxing course I have just run but the kids did laugh at the American accents. Obviously it is difficult to make a good sound quality when in a boat with wind and water noises but the sound quality is poor at times and it is difficult to understand what is being said. It would have been better to have more variety of coxes as it does get a bit tiresome listening to the same commands and voice track after track. However when you get into the CD, it becomes addictive as you feel the rhythm of the boat, the sound of the blades and the coxes' voice. My doubles partner (also a cox) and my partner (rowing coach) and I all love it purely because we are obsessed by rowing. So from that point of view we would all recommend it.
